Sounds like my next summer vacation.

Hi! The river is the Zezere, nearby there is a smaller one (Cabril) and its dam. The Philippine/Roman bridge dates back the 17th Cent. and is placed between two villages – Pedrogao Grande and Pedrogao Pequeno in the centre of Portugal.

I didn’t do down there as it’s very difficult (may be almost impossible) to reach by car on the lower part. But it’s possible if you hike as the place is beautiful. Also, there are typical schist houses around the area which are worth to see.

can I ask what the river is called? and if it is a fun hike.

I recently started doing production photography at my church. I have taken concert photos before, but I have trouble with low-light and lots of movement. Thanks to my fearless leader, Ken, I am shooting in shutter priority mode and breaking out of my shell. My Canon mirrorless camera works well in low-light situations as well. This is a skill that I need to have though since my husband is a bass player and plays with a Nashville Modern Country music artist. I took their Country Thunder pictures last year, but they just weren’t that great.
