When I first went to a desert (Thar in India) my friend walked backwards so his footprints appeared as though he had walked into the desert and then vanished.

In reply to Kav Dadfar. Thank you Yes, it is an incredible place and I was lucky to be able to go there, and to get the weird weather alternating between heavy rain/ snow showers and bright sunshine on the day this was taken. Fantastic for landscape photography!

In reply to kofemann. It's incredible how you can go from such a built up area to desert within just a short drive in UAE! Nice idea with the shot, I would crop down slightly so that it's more of a panoramic shot as there isn't much happening in the sky. But that's just my opinion.
