Thank you Nisha!

I got an opportunity to interview a popular heritage monument photographer based out in India. His works on temple monuments and old temple ruins are spectacular.

I’ll add a pet peeve. Avoid keystoning of parallel vertical lines unless it’s part of the vision of the image. You don’t need a tilt-shift or a bellows to do this. Just keep the film plane and the face of the building parallel. Crop for the composition you want. Better that than walls that lean in or out.

Hey Wayne, that photo was taken at the entrance to the Arnos Vale Waterwheel in Tobago (Trinidad & Tobago). The wall you see is the entrance to the Nature Park. There is no roof on this historical site and the light you see is the sun coming out after a long morning of rain … it was indeed striking and made the entrance something spectacular to behold. Thanks for stopping by 馃檪
