I liked that ,there are many differences in the lenses, there is a site that compares and explains most of them, i think it is helpful

Great all around lens, great camera. I’ve used Tamron for a LONG time! I had a Tamron 18-400mm on my Canon 80D before I switched to Fuji. Before my 18-400mm lens I had a 16-300mm lens. Tamron has great glass, it has some maybe some purple fringing, but a 2A Haze filters helps. The new 18-300mm lens for the Fuji at 18mm will focus at .(point) 2 inches. Is that 5mm? hmm yes it is!
You mentioned the Tamron 18-200mm for Sony, they make the 18-300mm for Sony, but also for Fuji, GREAT LENS!!! Jeremy Flint, you should check that out. Great all around range! 😉

Wonder why the Tamron 17-70 f/2.8 for the Sony APS-C wasn’t included in this write up.

Easily the best travel lens is the one Sony has designed just for that job. The 20-70 F4 FE. Look again at that range, it’s perfect for travel. It is also small, light and very sharp.

Love the extra reach and low-light performance.
I had the RF 24-240mm, but it’s not ideal as a travel lens. In addition to the issues listed, it’s not weather-sealed. If it rains when I travel, I still want to be able to shoot.
