In Classic, on computer, I would x to mark.
Thank you.

I find i use a few settings regularly, so this will help me. As for the auto straighten, appreciate that as well.

Interesting, thank you for the reply. It does make sense that loading the images more quickly would far outweigh any minor delays involved in swiping. My experience with Lightroom Mobile, though, has been that it loads a low-quality version of the image quickly but needs time to then swap in the high-quality version, which is what I need for culling. Maybe I’ve got it misconfigured somewhere.

Use the 1–5 keys to assign a rating, P, U, or X to pick, un-flag, or reject respectively, and the left and right arrow keys to move backwards or forwards respectively. It’s easier to hit those keys than to swipe the right amount in the right place and the right direction.

I can understand your hesitation about this, and when I do culling on LR desktop I use the keyboard shortcuts constantly. But for me, culling on LR mobile is just so much faster and I think a lot of it has to do with loading times for the images. Everything is just so snappy compared to desktop. If you have the opportunity to give it a try I think you might be surprised.
